Six years ago I met my first love. I talk about him a lot. I’ve never loved anyone so much in my life. While we were dating, he gave me a turtle from build a bear for out first Christmas. I was Ms. Turtle, he was Mr. Jaguar. As time passed, we changed. We tried to stay friends but we just grew apart.. Now our friendship is so jacked up he refuses to communicate with me anymore. I want him in my life because i love him so much but it breaks my heart when he doesn’t want me around. I can’t do anything.. I try not to care I try not to show how broken I am. But yes, I am hurt, yes I am heartbroken. I wanted our friendship to last for years but we can’t get what we want. The thing in the picture that is burning is the title he gave me 6 years ago.. I’m not going to lie, I cried. I didn’t know it would be emotional. I’ve done everything I could to keep our friendship alive, but if he’s not going to put in effort, there’s no use. Sometimes you have to burn bridges. That’s what I’m doing. I need to move on. I need to get past this. I don’t want too, but I don’t have much of a choice. Maybe one day we can rebuild our friendship.. But for now I need to get myself together and keep moving forward.
